In his latest Alex Hawke Thriller, PATRIOT, author Ted Bell pits his series protagonist against Russian President Vladimir Putin. I absolutely loved this book, but more importantly I’ve wondered why news outlets haven’t been rushing to get Bell’s take on things, in light of Russia’s recent involvement in Syria.
Bell has researched Putin and crafted him into a compelling and scary villain in PATRIOT, a novel that doesn’t seem all that fictional anymore. So when Ted recently appeared on Newsmax, I was thrilled someone finally brought him on to pick his brain. Bell, for his part, doesn’t disappoint, as he refuses to hold back his true thoughts and feelings on Putin, Russia, and other topics.
