Brad Taylor Talks Pike Logan, The Forgotten Soldier, and More During Insightful Land of Books Interview!

Brad Taylor is such a rock star! Nobody in the military genre, of which he’s become the undisputed gold standard, cranks of thrillers like he does. But he’s also a good guy who is down to earth, and great with his fans.

I personally know several people who have gone out to one of Brad’s book signing events for his latest bestselling novel, The Forgotten Soldier, and they have all told me the same thing: He’s a great guy, engaging, funny, and spends a lot of time with his fans – even after the event is over.

I’m a huge fan of both Taylor, and his fictional series protagonist Pike Logan. If you’re not reading him, you’re missing out!

Taylor recently did an interview with Land of Books where he discussed a wide range of topics, including who the character of Pike Logan is based after. (Hint: it’s not any one person.) He also discussed other topics about his books, such as The Taskforce and how he created them, and how long it takes him to write a each novel.

Best of all, Taylor slipped in some early teasers about his next book, the tenth in the Pike Logan series, titled Ghosts of War, which is set to hit bookstores on June 28, 2016.

Here’s a small portion of the interview, which you can read in its entirety here.

The next Pike Logan adventure, called Ghosts of War, comes out June 28th, and is set in Eastern Europe. I moved away from Islamic terrorism and towards the fault lines of the old Cold War. I’m about half way through, and it’s due in a month and a half. As usual, I’m far behind.

If you haven’t read Taylor’s latest novel, which is my favorite of his thus far, order The Forgotten Soldier today!
