Tom Wood Signs a New Deal with Berkley Publishing Group, Guaranteeing at Least Two More Books in his Victor the Assassin Series

Here’s some good news for fans of Tom Wood’s Victor the Assassin series, the author just recently signed a new book deal with Berkley Publishing Group (an imprint of Penguin Books) guaranteeing readers at least two more novels after this year.

The Victor the Assassin series begins with The Killer (also titled The Hunter, depending on which country you live in) and follows Victor–a contract killer for hire–who is very different from other series protagonists in the thriller genre. In fact, Victor is more of an antihero, who embodies a lot of traits we typically see in the antagonists. The series currently stands at five books with the sixth, A time to Die, scheduled to be released on August 2, 2016.

According to the deal, books seven and eight will be released in 2017 and 2018 respectively–but not much else is known at this point.

Recently Victor made our list of The Ten Baddest Dudes in the Spy Genre Right Now, and is a great character to check out if you’re between books or waiting on the next novel of a different series to come out!
