Why I’m Already Excited About Paul Cleave’s Next Book, Scheduled to Release in the Summer of 2017!

Of all the books I read last year, none of them shocked me more than Paul Cleave’s Trust No One–a thriller about a crime novelist who develops Alzheimer’s disease and suddenly can’t remember whether or not he actually killed the victims he wrote about in his books. I didn’t even know what the book was a bout when I started it, but ended up loving it so much I stayed up all night reading it.

A truly breathtaking thriller, I wasn’t sure Cleave could ever top Trust No One… until I heard about his next book!

Cleave recently signed a deal to stay with Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, his next book is scheduled for publication in the summer of 2017. The novel (currently untitled) has to do with a teenager who, through transplant surgery, is given his dead uncle’s eyes. The uncle, a former police detective, was murdered. After recovering from surgery the teenager finds that he quite literally has the ability to see the world–and danger–through his uncle’s eyes.

I seriously can’t wait to read this. Cleave, previously a finalist for the Edgar Award, is one of my favorite mystery-thriller writers out there. His work is consistently strong, especially the last several years, and it would seem he’s on the top of his game riding into 2017.

I wish I had more details about his next book, but you can bet I’ll be covering and watching this closely so check back often for updates. In the meantime, order a copy of Trust No One–you’re going to love it!
