I’ve made it no secret that C.J. Box is one of my very favorite authors writing thrillers today. His Joe Pickett series is, in my opinion, as good as anything else out there regardless or genre. If you’re not reading it, you should be–and now might be the perfect time to start!
Putnam, Box’s longtime publisher, is re-releasing his Joe Pickett series–which began in 2001 with Open Season–in paperback with updated cover art. Honestly, this was a needed makeover because while you’re never to judge a book by its cover, some of the earlier Pickett books featured downright ugly artwork.
Scroll down to see each new cover, plus the release dates, and links to order your copy today. I cannot recommend this series enough, my personal favorites being Winterkill, Cold Wind, Endangered and this year’s Off The Grid.
Note: I only found listings for the first ten Pickett novels. I’ll update this article when/if I find the rest.
