I’m not usually one to say “I told you so,” but sometimes, like right now, I am. I’ve been a big supporter of CBS Films’ casting decision to hire actor Dylan O’Brien as the young, twenty-three-year-old Mitch Rapp in the upcoming American Assassin movie.
Even as book fans freaked out on social media for months, I always thought Dylan was a strong choice and was anxious to see his transformation as he got himself ready to take on the character of Rapp. Now it’s official, though, because CBS Films just erased any doubt that O’Brien could pull off looking like the legendary CIA operative.
