Heads up, thriller fans. There’s a new author to keep your eye on, and her name is K.J. Howe.
Howe’s debut novel, The Freedom Broker, will hit bookstores on February 7, 2017. As of right now, she’s definitely my early pick for best new author of ’17 and, while my review of The Freedom Broker won’t be posted until late December, let me just say this… Howe can really write!
In all honesty, Howe’s debut is quite unlike anything else I’ve read. She certainly isn’t out to play copycat, having delivered a unique thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Likewise, her protagonist, Thea Paris, an expert hostage negotiator, is a fresh and compelling character who will carry the author’s new series far beyond just this book.
I’ve been talking about Howe’s debut for months, so none of this will surprise our regular followers. However, today is special because the author finally unveiled the stunning cover art for The Freedom Broker, and it’s pretty awesome. Scroll down to check it out!
