David Baldacci’s Will Robie Set To Return In ‘End Game,’ And We Have All The Plot Details You’ve Been Waiting For

David Baldacci isn’t one of the bestselling authors on the planet by accident. Not only does he consistently churn out one high-powered thriller after another, but Baldacci has multiple hit series under his belt.

While it’s been a few years since the author visited his Camel Club or King & Maxwell franchises (2010 and 2013 respectively), Baldacci has managed to juggle three other popular series, releasing new books every one or two years.

John Puller, Baldacci’s tenacious army investigator, was last seen in No Man’s Land (2016), while FBI investigator Amos Decker (The Last Mile) returns to star in The Fix, which hits bookstores in April.

Baldacci’s third active series protagonist, Will Robie, the CIA assassin who was last seen in 2015’s The Guilty, was the only one of the author’s Big Three characters to not have a new book last year. And while we certainly enjoy both Puller and Decker, for our money, Robie is Baldacci’s best character–making the news of his return this November all the more exciting.

On the heels of The Guilty, Will Robie returns to action in End Game, which is scheduled to come out on November 14, 2017. Scroll down to check out the plot details below!

Will Robie returns home from a mission overseas to discover that his boss— codenamed Blue Man—has vanished. The clues are scant. Blue Man went fly-fishing in remote Colorado, but there have been no sightings or communications since he left. Robie, along with his sometime-partner Jessica Reel, arrives in the rural Colorado town to discover that it has its own share of problems: a string of murders, a severe drug problem, and a violent white supremacist group. Blue Man’s disappearance could be related to any one of these—or not. As outsiders to the close-knit community, Robie and Reel reluctantly join forces with local policewoman Chyna Malloy—but the three find themselves up against an adversary with superior firepower and a home court advantage. They’ll be lucky if they make it out alive, with or without Blue Man

Let the countdown begin, as fans are no doubt already anxious to find out–after reading those plot details–whether End Game could be a tongue-in-cheek reference to Robie’s future. (For the record, we hope he’s around for a long, long time!)
