According to a report from The Sunday Morning Herald, “Eric Bana will act in his first Australian movie since 2007’s Romulus, My Father, starring as Aaron Falk in the feature adaptation of Jane Harper’s bestselling novel The Dry.”
The report then goes on to say that, “Robert Connolly, who produced Romulus, will direct, from a script he has co-written with Harry Cripps (co-writer with Tim Minchin of the ill-fated Dreamworks animated movie Larrikins).”
With Luke dead, only Aaron really knows what happened that night, or so he thinks . . . until a mysterious person claims to also know the truth–forcing Falk to re-examine Luke’s murder under the assumption that there might be more to his friend’s death than he first thought.
Force of Nature, the follow-up to The Dry, came out in early 2018. Harper’s next novel, The Lost Man, is a standalone novel that is currently slated to hit U.S. bookstores on February 5, 2019.
