Simon Gervais announces two new upcomming projects!

Former federal counterterrorism agent Simon Gervais, released his debut novel – The Thin Black Line – in 2015. With one hit novel under his belt Gervais is gearing up for an even bigger 2016, and remains one of the hottest up-and-coming names in the genre.

The Book Spy has learned that Gervais has successfully sold the German rights for The Thin Black Line to FESTA VERLAG, and that he currently has two additional projects in the works.

The Red Dotted Line, the sequel to The Thin Black Line – which introduced readers to counterterrorism field expert Mike Walton – is scheduled to hit bookstores in September of 2016.

Now, don’t worry, you won’t actually have to wait until September for more Walton, because Gervais is planning to release a novella to bridge the gap between his first and second book!

The novella, titled A LONG GRAY LINE, will likely be about a hundred pages long and available only in eBook format. No official release date has been set as of yet, but I’ll update this article when more information becomes available.

Lastly, here’s some plot details about A LONG GRAY LINE:

A sleeper cell embedded among a wave of Syrian refugees is about to be activated. Convinced he’s doing the right thing, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees plans to recommend the closure of all the borders within the European Union, annihilating the hope and dreams of thousands of honest and desperate asylum seekers.

Knowing the havoc this would create on the American stock market, IMSI’s agents Mike and Lisa Walton are dispatched to find and eliminate the cell before it’s too late. With only forty-eight hours before the High Commissioner’s announcement, Mike and Lisa will find themselves facing the most difficult decision of their lives: To go after the Sheik —the man responsible for the loss of their entire family— or to ensure the financial well-being of millions of Americans.

I know I’m excited, hit the comment section and let me know what you think about Simon Gervais’ upcoming projects!
