If you’ve followed my reviews at all then you know how high I am on debut author Erik Storey, whose novel Nothing Short of Dying is one of my very favorite new releases to hit bookstores in 2016.
In fact, in my review of Nothing Short of Dying, I equated myself to fanboy status of Storey’s new protagonist, Clyde Barr. A perfect mixture of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher and C.J. Box’s Nate Romanowski, Barr is a compelling new hero who fans of the genre will instantly fall in love with.
Also in my review, which you can read here, I noted that I loved everything about Storey’s book, including the cover. Little did I know back when I read it and made those remarks, that the cover art would be undergoing a serious upgrade.
Storey fist broke the news himself, announcing to his fans that the cover had changed before revealing the new artwork via his social media accounts.
Unsure if the new cover would completely replace the old one, or if Storey’s publisher planned to release both, I reached out to the author’s publicist at Scribner who confirmed to me that the old artwork has been swapped out for the new. Completely.
Scroll down to check out the new cover, which, by the way, looks really great! Then head over to Amazon and pre-order your copy of Nothing Short of Dying, which will be available anywhere books are sold on August 16, 2016.
