Matthew Betley’s Third Book, ‘Field of Valor,’ to Hit Bookstores Next May

In 2016, Matthew Betley exploded onto the thriller scene with his hit debut novel, Overwatch, which introduced readers to former Marine officer Logan West.

Now, after delivering another crowd-pleasing thriller with Oath of Honor, one of our highest-rated novels of 2017, Betley is gearing up to release the third book in his series, which will hit bookstores next May, sometime before Memorial Day.

While plot details are still unknown, the third book will be called Field of Valor, and Betley told us exclusively that it’ll pick up not far from where Oath of Honor left off.

“The book picks up six months after the events of Oath of Honor, ” said Betley. “It takes place over a seventy-two hour period inside Washington, D.C. and the surrounding areas.”

While Field of Valor is not yet available for pre-order, the first two books in the Logan West series are both available wherever books are sold. If you’re a fan of the genre and haven’t yet discovered Betley’s work, you’re missing out. Head out and grab Overwatch as soon as possible. Not only does Betley write some of the most authentic and gripping action sequences today, but he infuses well-timed, laugh-out-loud humor into his large-scale plots–creating a really fun and enjoyable reading experience.

For fans who’ve already knocked out both of Betley’s books, when pressed for more details about Field of Valor, the author teased by revealing that “it has one of the most intense and emotional openings in recent memory.”

We know…we can barely contain ourselves either!

Field of Valor, the latest action-packed thriller in Matthew Betley’s Logan West series, will hit bookstores next May–stay tuned for more details.
