Nora Roberts to Kickoff New Series with ‘The Awakening’

On November 24, 2020, #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts is set to release The Awakening, the first book in a new series.

Described as “a brand new series where parallel worlds clash over the struggle between good and evil,” Roberts latest franchise is being called “The Dragon Heart Legacy,” and is said to follow a girl named Breen who, during a summer trip, inadvertently finds a portal to another and, in the process, discovers her ability to use magic.

Not much else about the new series is currently known, but there’s a good chance Breen’s story will be told over the course of three books, much like Robert’s last trilogy, Chronicles of The One, which concluded with last year’s The Rise of Magicks.
