Moreover, Hollywood has already come calling, with the option rights already picked up by film and tv producer Lee Thomas. So, there’s plenty of buzz ahead of the book’s September 27th launch.

Atria Books will publish THE OTHER SIDE OF NIGHT by bestselling author Adam Hamdy on September 27, 2022. The Other Side of Night is an inventive novel in which the lives of a disgraced police officer, a prolific author, and an upstanding citizen are inextricably bound together.
“I haven’t been able to stop thinking about The Other Side of Night since the day my son asked me the question that inspired it,” said Hamdy. “I hope it has a similar impact on readers and becomes a book people want to talk about and read over and over again. I couldn’t be happier that Atria and Pan Macmillan are publishing the novel in the US and UK respectively. Both have track records of introducing thought-provoking fiction to a wide readership.”
Award-winning film and tv producer Lee Thomas (The Last Tree, Industry, The Voorman Problem) has optioned the film rights and will be producing through his indie company, Prodigal. “Adam has crafted a potent and brilliant genre bending thriller, and like the best character-driven thriller mysteries like Memento or K-Pax, The Other Side of Night will keep audiences guessing and bedazzled until the very end,” said Thomas. “I am delighted to be bringing this fabulous story to the screen, and can’t wait to see audience reactions when they realize that nothing is as it seems.
