John Grisham Returns to Camino Island for New Thriller, ‘Camino Ghosts’

After delivering a sequel (The Exchange) to The Firm in 2023, #1 New York Times bestselling author John Grisham is set to visit another series in 2024 when Camino Ghosts hits bookstores on May 28, 2024.

Grisham—who, of course, needs no introduction—penned Camino Island back in 2017. That book introduced bookstore owner Bruce Campbell, a native of Camino Island in Florida, who specializes in moving rare books and stolen property on the black market. Mercer Mann, a young novelist, is also featured, and soon, she’s tasked with getting close to Campbell and learning the secrets of his trade. Both characters returned for Grisham’s 2020 follow-up, Camino Winds, and now, the duo are due back in bookstores in 2024 for Ghosts.
