Back in 2012, Michael Connely—best known for his #1 New York Times bestselling Harry Bosch series—penned a short story called The Safe Man. Now completely reimagined, The Safe Man is headed to Audible as an audio drama starring Jack Quaid and Titus Welliver.
Though Connelly is still set to release The Waiting, his next Renee Ballard and Harry Bosch novel, this November, news of the forthcoming audio drama, which will be exclusive to Audible, will no doubt be a nice surprise for his legion of fans. Be careful when you go looking for links, though. The original short story was released as an audiobook by Hachette Audio twelve years ago and is still available in both e-book and audio formats. This new project, which is headlined by Welliver, who, of course, plays Harry Bosch in the Prime Video series Bosch, and now Bosch: Legacy, will be a full-fledged audio drama with an entire cast behind it.
